The Marathon de Medoc
If I had known what a commitment it was to train for a marathon I’m not sure I would have put myself forward and persuaded 7 friends from the city to join me running the 2017 marathon de medoc. Summer evenings spent drinking pimms in the sunshine soon became a distant memory and were quickly replaced with pounding the streets of London.
The marathon de medoc is no ordinary marathon, the 26-mile course is run donning fancy dress and indulging in wine, cheese, oysters, steak and everything else that the Médoc region had to offer, all while attempting to run an actual marathon, and - best of all – we managed to raise over £5,000 for cancer.

The 2017 theme was music and we were the Village People
