You may well have heard it said that communication is only 10% what you say and 90% about how you look.

Well the fact is that it’s a little bit more complicated than that, but there is a basic truth in there. As a communications agency, we take that very seriously; for us, helping our clients to get their message across means embracing all aspects of the communications process and getting the most out of them.

In our courses you will learn about the importance of language, dress, tone of voice, body language, gestures, status and team complicity.

The training is delivered as a three hour session for groups of up to eight.

Tailored Courses

Each session is led by one of our Associate Directors, Michael Callahan. Michael is an experienced actor and director; many of the techniques we use are those used in the teaching of improvisational drama, where actors have to be completely “in the moment” with their colleagues so they can develop themes and give a coherent performance.

Before each course, we meet with the Directors/Managers of the team to be trained and establish what issues need to be addressed so we can tailor the course to meet their requirements. We also arrange a follow-up meeting visit with the appropriate Manager/Director some three months after the course to see how performance and teamwork has been impacted and whether key behaviours have been embedded.
