Presentation Training - Pitching to Win

Have you ever been part of a team delivering a presentation when, during 'your bit' you just try up? What do your colleagues do? Do they jump in and cover any embarrassing gaps? Well, we'd all like to think so.

How about the situation where your audience has obviously lost interest, flicked to the back page of your presentation and closed it. What do you do? How do you avoid losing that initial interest?

Our half day sessions for teams of up to eight teach teams how to present as teams. We examine:

• Being in the Team; how willing are you to be part of the team? What behaviours does this require? How do we communicate, non-verbally, to a potential client that we are the team he needs to work with?

• Timing, pace and body language; we examine how to keep presentations interesting and how to hold your audience's attention. We will teach you how to use your voice to project with confidence and how to “cast” the people in your team to the right parts of your pitch. We examine the use of slides and supporting visual aids as well as the structure of successful pitches.

• The importance of status; do we want to appear as “the boss and his supporters”, or as a real team who, while recognising hierarchy in their organisation, have the inter-personal skills to win the confidence of potential clients.
