London Luton Airport is the UK's 5th busiest airport with passenger numbers exceeding nine million in 2006, an increase of nearly 400 per cent over the last decade. Employing close to 500 staff, the airport is a major economic driver for the region, as well as a base for "low cost" or "no frills" air travel.
The airport is operated and developed by a consortium of which Abertis Infraestructuras, a leading European infrastructure provider, is a 90 per cent majority shareholder.

Natalie Raper, Marketing Director, London Luton Airport

"Blythe Weigh Communications has been advising London Luton Airport and our Spanish parent, The Abertis Group, for over two years. They have provided first rate advice on a range of strategic communications and public affairs issues and we very much regard them as part of our "virtual" team. They understand the international travel and airports market and have good links with the media and Government figures that are important to our future."
