ROM Capital Group was set up in 2003 by property entrepreneur, Robert Whitton and national developer, Daren Burney, to invest in specialist assets requiring active management.

The ROM Capital Opportunity Fund was set up in October 2007, in a £400m joint venture with Bank of Scotland Corporate. The fund aims to profit from the repricing of secondary property caused by the credit crunch.
